This is a custom set of unique rings that I specially designed to shorten the L and R triggers travel for Smash Ultimate faster shield actuation. It will also make the springs way more stable inside your Nintendo GameCube controller, no more vibration sound, less noise.
You will receive two pairs of rings: two trigger rings (for triggers themselves) and two backing rings (for the trigger tubes).
🌟 BE AWARE: Installing these rings will shorten the LR triggers travel, which means that they will not click anymore. The triggers will bottom out right as shield activates on Smash Ultimate, thereby providing the fastest possible actuation.
This makes the triggers super smooth as the springs are perfectly positioned and aligned. This is also avoiding all the vibrations that are originally due to the springs hitting the surrounding parts when moving.
The clicking sound becomes extremely satisfying. I recorded a video to show you the difference with a no rings mod trigger so you can enjoy the clicking music. On the left of the video, no ring mod, you can hear the spring dramatically vibrating. On the right, the trigger is modded with these rings and the sound is completely different! Smooth and clicky.

The rings are made of 3D printed TPU, which is a rubber-like material, soft and elastic. We have a few colors, looking for new others in the future.

Ring mod is perfect. It fits exact, so you'll need to force them in a bit. But my click is now super smooth, and only goes down just enough to actuate in smash ultimate so it returns quick. It gets rid of the digital click of course, but if it's for smash ultimate, the digital click does nothing in that game

Fonctionne parfaitement bien. Diminue ce qu'il faut de course sur les gâchettes L et R et aucun problème à mettre mon shield sur SSBU.

I’ve tried the Fires styled rings, and for whatever reason, they didn’t really work for me. User error? Def not out of the question, but regardless - these were FAR easier for me to install. I mostly play melee, and these remove the bottom click, making them absolute nails for wave dashing. Total guess, but I’d say it lowered the pull effort by 30% or so, and I already had short springs and a long plug. These are a godsend for wrist pain, and the simplest install of all the Etsy options. My wave dash finally isn’t burning out in the first hour!!
